A Piece of Lebanon in Kirtland Hills
My mural of the Lebanese fountain—based on the original in the town of Aitanit, Lebanon—is complete! This piece was painted on the back of my client’s barn in Kirtland Hills, Ohio. His family is from Aitanit, so this mural holds deep sentimental value, bringing a piece of his heritage to his own backyard.
He plans to transform the area into a serene meditation space with landscaping, a patio, and a bench. His perfect spot for reflection.
This project was especially meaningful for me, as it was my first architectural mural. I have painted house portraits on canvas before, but never anything quite on this scale. Seeing it come to life outdoors was an incredible experience, blending personal history, place, and art into one peaceful scene.
