What is the detailed step by step process to get a mural?
- Discovery Call: We will schedule a call to discuss the project details, such as design and budget. Please send a brief description of the proposed project, including a photo of the wall and its measurements.
- Design Fee: Upon payment of the $300 design fee, clients will receive up to three design sketches with the option for up to three revisions on a selected design.
- Contract: A detailed contract will outline all project specifics, including start dates, ensuring clarity and alignment on expectations and processes.
- Half Deposit: A 50% deposit is required before painting begins.
- Paint: Project timelines vary based on complexity, with most projects taking several days to two weeks to complete, depending on the size. With the final payment due upon completion.

How much does a mural cost?
Typically I have a $500 minimum for wall murals and start at $20 a square foot. If you send a picture of your wall with size dimensions to grace@gracenestor.com I will be happy to give you a quote.
Why do you need to know my budget?
Everyone has different art needs and I want to make sure to give you a design that works best for you and your space. Since art varies in price depending on size, design complexity, and other factors, adjusting any of those will alter the price. Please clearly explain what you are looking for and I can make sure to work within your budget.
What is your service area for mural commissions?
I am based in Kent, Ohio and I serve primarily the North East Ohio region. However, I will travel all across Ohio and out of State.
How long does it usually take to get a mural painted?
It depends on the project. Usually a few days to a week.
What type of paint do you use for murals?
I use house paint. This paint is sturdy and will last 20+ years depending on the environment. If you ever want to change your look within 20 years or more, the mural can just be painted over.
How much does a window painting cost?
Windows start at $150 for one single color of paint. They typically range from $150-$350 for average size windows.
What type of surface do you paint on?
I paint typically on normal walls; however, I can paint on wood or metal.
